Background

Library and Information Services in Astronomy (LISA) is a series of scientific meetings for librarians and scientists that aims to provide a platform for discussing the current state and future direction of information maintenance, retrieval, delivery, preservation as well as evaluation and information literacy in our profession.

LISA conferences cover diverse topics including collection organization and management; publishing; tools for working with astronomical literature; and reports on collaborative projects.
